Additional City offices festive season closures

The City would like to inform residents that its Customer Offices will be closed for additional days over the festive season. Residents are encouraged to make use of the City’s convenient online booking and payment options over this busy period.
‘The City’s Revenue Department offices (payment, account enquiries and motor vehicle registration and licensing) as well as Traffic Services’ driving licence testing centres, Human Settlements’ offices and municipal courts will be closed on various days over the festive season. Residents are encouraged to settle their municipal accounts using one of the online options for an accurate, efficient and secure payment process,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Finance, Councillor Siseko Mbandezi.
Customer offices and municipal courts will be closed on these days:

Municipal account payment services are available online via the City’s eServices, by using the QR code on your account statement or make payments via EFT. You can also pay your accounts at Shoprite, Checkers, USave, Pick n Pay, PEP, Ackermans, Lewis, Top It Up, Woolworths, selected Spar stores and Nedbank branches.
Account payments are important to keep service delivery going. We thank each customer and ratepayer for their payments, especially during the festive season with its many demands. Our residents who will be going away are urged to ensure that accounts are up to date,’ said Councillor Mbandezi.
Brackenfell Vehicle Licence Renewal drive-through: The drive-through operates on Mondays to Fridays from 10:00 to 18:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00. The closure dates above also apply to the drive-through. Only card payments will be accepted at the Brackenfell Vehicle Licence Renewal drive-through facility.
